Re: Rank the Tracks: The Rolling Stones' Exile on Main St.

I was massively disappointed by this album. As I stated before, I normally like albums that are described as organic , and Tumbling Dice is deservedly part of the Stones canon. But, apart from three or four other good cuts, there just isn't enough substance here, and some of the faux-country numbers...

It took me a while to give this album a chance because I think Definitely Maybe is bit meh, but after three listens I have to conclude that this is a quantum leap forward for Oasis. When you take away Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger, which are both so engrained in the collective consciousnes...

For Checker, I think the hall should have (and it might have something like this, if I recall) a list of hall of fame records by artists who are never going to make the hall itself. Apparently there is exactly that, and Chubby Checker's The Twist is included: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_R...

I've been there twice. There's not a lot of emphasis put on inductees. Only the last class gets a personal exhibition space, in a room with plaques and signatures of past inductees. The main hall is where it's at. It is thematically disposed so you could see dozen of showcases about 60's soul, the ...

I quite like this one. Just a very energetic, raw blues rock song. It also proved quite influential. For example a song by Thee Oh Sees, Tidal Wave, has a very similar riff and was used in a very famous scene of Breaking Bad.
