Dan Deacon might be the most surprising album in the top 50. Nothing on the album outside of Become a Mountain (which made my songs list) stood out to me, though I only listened to it once.

My biggest surprise/disappointment so far is the Owen Pallett album being entirely out of the top 100. I found Island to be on par in quality with his last two albums, which I thought had some fans around here, and "A Bloody Morning" grew on me to be one of my songs of the year. Adan no Kaze would have been my #1 and Moor Mother in my top 5 had I voted (though the reason I didn't vote is because I didn't have time to listen to half of the albums, so who knows). I expect Aoba to do pretty well in the general poll though.
