Big Thief is top, in my opinion, because we have run into another weak year for albums. We don't have the event-album we had even back in 2017 with DAMN!. I listened to Honey again at home. It definitely sounds better on a good hi-fi system than in the car, but I can't really connect with it emotionally. It's a well put together track and sounds good but there isn't that magical connection with me.

I'm most surprised at Honey. That song just does not stand out to me at all from the others on the Robyn album. It's no Dancing on My Own, but it'll probably end up higher than that track. Totally agree about Honey. In fact the whole Robyn album seems a bit over-rated to me, but Honey doesn't stand...

I can't believe how lacklustre the top 10 is. I made a playlist and not really impressed with any of them. Only one song in the top 10 uses a real drummer. They're mostly rnb or hiphop. I don't mind the Mitski and Travis Scott tracks. And maybe the Drake one. Political music bores the hell out of me...

I'm looking at the list and actually the ones in the top 10 that I don't like are by female artists rather than male. Mitski which I liked on first listen but quickly found irritating, Cardi B and Christine and the Queens I don't like much.
