LCD Soundsystem off to a strong start with #1 in both Mojo and Uncut
Source: me, sitting here with a copy of the magazine in my hand, typing it all in - as will probably be evident from the number of typos.

Re: Best Moderately Acclaimed Album of 2015: Nominations
I'd like to nominate Mikal Cronin's MCIII.
I'm not sure it's my absolute favourite album of the year - although it might very well be - but I find the lack of love for it quite baffling.

Re: Albums of 2014
Very pleased to see so many positive comments about Damien Jurado's 'Brothers And Sisters Of The Eternal Son'. I'm completely knocked out by this album - I've already played it 4 times (in 10 days) and I very seldom do anything like that (I think the last time was Father John Misty's 'Fear Fun'). If...

Re: EOY Albums Spreadsheet: Update thread
While I think 2013 has been one of the richest years (I could make a top 40 albums list with only album I really enjoyed which is a first, by far), I don't feel like there has been any instant classic, neither on the current EOY top 10 nor in my personal one... Re: What Albums Are You Looking Forward to in 2013?
Not mentioned so far:
Pere Ubu - Lady From Shanghai (1/7)
Villagers - Awayland (1/14)
John Grant - Pale Green Ghosts (3/11)
Also, of course, the outstanding 3 of the 4 albums that Guillemots were supposed to be releasing during 2012!
