Re: Suggest genre changes here

I'm currently involved in a project where my task right now is to categorize albums and songs by their musical genres, using RYM info, a task that seems to closely align with the assistance required here. Hence, I thought this could be an excellent opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. Henri...

Jealous Guy at #17? Pff. What a joke.

The sequence "Paul-John-George-Paul-John-George," intermittently featuring Ringo, strikes me as peculiar. This pattern suggests, I think, a lack of fairness in their selection process.

Re: José Agustín - Los grandes discos de Rock 1951-1975 (The Greatest Rock Albums 1951-1975)

I've just noticed that the first album from each 'artist' is regarded as superior to their subsequent ones. Hence, among the entire collection, the following albums are ranked the highest: Muddy Waters: His best 1947-1955 Sugar Ray Crawford, Clifton Chenier, Edgar Blanchard, et al.: Chess New Orlean...

José Agustín - Los grandes discos de Rock 1951-1975 (The Greatest Rock Albums 1951-1975) (2001)

This book comes from the pen of one of Mexico's most cherished authors, renowned for his expertise in counter-culture: José Agustín. His recent passing has left many in mourning. I have one of his sons on Facebook, and he shared a post about this book—a work I hadn't been aware of until now. It stri...

Re: Errors in the 2020 update

I would disagree :) It's fairly common with jazz album covers actually. I believe it's much more simple to keep the album credited to the leader for the session Hi Pierre! I respect your viewpoint. And I agree, crediting only the session leader would be simpler. However, the common practice of list...
