If I had to recommend a lesser known film of 1960, I'd recommmend Bergman's Jungfrukällan (The Virgin Spring). It's not one of his most famous films, but in my opinion it is one of his best.

Great winner.

I don't think it's very surprising that our tastes get more similar as we move further back in time, since the classics of those decades are well established and there are some films almost everybody has seen and a lot of films that almost nobody has seen.

Days of Heaven at #15 is quite a nice surprise, actually. I also like the fact that Eraserhead did well, because it's such an exceptional film.

I haven't included mini-series, but some cases are tough indeed. Riget is a good example. It's possibly my favorite miniserie (especially the first part), but I haven't included it. However, I don't think it will be any problem to accept borderline cases, because they won't get that many (high) vote...

I guess you're talking about the 70s tournament and not the all time tournament, because the former has 100 nominated films, and the latter is free for all.

I will compile a top 200. It will include all of my 5 and 4.5 and most of my 4 stars on RYM. Guess generally I don't rate films as high as you do. The vast majority is 2.5, 3 and 3.5 stars.

Dylan is back! Reviews are generally very positive. I'm listening to it right now and it does sound promising. Potential top three of the year, if not better. The man is 71 and still at the top of his game. He made some of the best albums of the sixties and is still going strong about 50 years late...

I guess it would be more useful to drop the mimimum of five, if that would mean that the number one of lists containing less than five films would yield less than 50 points.
