Suggestion is to create a "squeezed out" genre and take nominations through the last week of other genres and make the squeezed out genre the last one we vote on.
That could be fun.

AOR...A = Arena, R = Rock, O = ? I guess if it were Arena Rock U2 would be here. What does AOR stand for? I see a lot of arena rock bands but no U2 and a lot of cinematic conceptual bands but no Pink Floyd, and otherwise spread throughout well known rock bands from 1960s to 1980s. It stands for "al...

Re: UEFA Champions League 2011-2012

I'm not very much into football anymore these days. I don't like all the shenanigans around it at the moment (The Cruyff saga with Ajax is one of the many examples, can't get around it in Holland). The game itself is still beautiful though. And if there was ever a team or a player that would be able...

Probably the weakest/least interesting group of artist yet.

I'm shocked The National didn't make it. I guess it's because of Vampire Weekend's 7 email votes to their 2. Apart from you're and mine number one votes, The National barely received any votes here either. I thought The National was more popular on this board. They don't do bad in the polls, usuall...

The Verlaines - "Death and the Maiden" Nina Simone - "Sinner Man" My love for Sinner Man is quite obvious, as it was my nomination. I will probably elaborate on it if it reaches the final. Don't worry about the 2011 EOY polls. I'll re-post them when I get time over the next couple of days as I still need to post individual lists from the final round of the songs poll, as promised.

Just to be sure: I post the results from the old forum in a (appropriately named, but basically random) new topic over here in 'music, music, music'?
I guess you adjust the links in the History of AM Forum Polls-topic afterwards?

Edit: I just looked around and I know enough to get started.
