Okay, so there is one Jacques Brel album called Brel on allmusic.com, and one on Spotify, and they have completely different track listings.

Very happy to see A Wizard, A True Star get in. Everything else here is pretty much the usual suspects. The only high ranked albums that tend not to make it are the non-lyrical ones like Tubular Bells.

I have mixed feelings about the Swans album. One second I'm thinking, crap this sounds awesome. Then that awesome sound drones on for seven minutes, and I just want the album to move the hell on.

Personally I don't mind Here Come The Warm Jets being included in either year, I just don't want to have to look across two different sources in the future to figure out which year an album is.

I'm enjoying Nikki Nack but I'm worried its borderline twee-ness is going to wear on me by the end of the year.

Lykke Li's album has some of the best singles of the year, but it's a little uneven overall.

Since this is an acclaimedmusic.net forum, shouldn't we be using acclaimedmusic.net's years as definitive, using RYM as a fallback for things not listed on AM? Having to double check every single album against RYM would be a hassle, their lists aren't as clean and easy to index and reference the one...
