Re: Streaming Services - a poll
Good God I had know idea you could add up to 10,000 for just one single playlist. And that’s not considered enough for some people lol? I check my friends on Facebook and I’m impressed if they have over 200 songs. So they think I’m nuts for having a playlist of over 1,500 songs (I named it “the Furl...

Re: Fiona Apple - Fetch the Bolt Cutters
Have they ever given an album 5 full stars off the bat when it’s brand new? I know with them they tend to upgrade as time passes but I’ve never seen them love something as soon as it’s released enough to give it a full fledged 5 star rating.

Pretty much anything from the WonderStuff 80s/early 90s catalogue, Fountains of Wayne’s Welcome Interstate Managers, Suede’s Coming Up....yeah I get it, it’s the first without their acclaimed guitarist but they still pull it off. At this point just replace the words concerts with REFUNDS. Laughing my ass off cause TicketMaster charges a fortune in all this BS tax they make up, now they have to refund it 100% as they charged people. Whitechocolatespaceegg by Liz Phair. Think it came in last EVEN AS A BUBBLER for that year so it narrowly edged out another all time fave, Someone to Drive You Home by the Long Blondes and Supergrass’ Life on Other Planets which I also think ended up as one of the last bubblers for that year.

The Dreaming by Kate Bush. 🤔 Always wondered how it ranked in that last 80s album poll we took. Hoping Hounds of Love made the top 3. Being that the 80s was so dismal I only voted for a handful of artists so I had to really stretch out my list at the recommendation of the administrator of the poll. ...

Yeah along with Henry “the Fonze” Winkler of all people, the FOY were of a very few amount of people to not look so highly on Tom Hanks who didn’t give them any real credit for being the band behind the band in his movie. I liked both 2003 and 2006 for pretty similar reasons. Very poppy, melodic, throwback albums and singles. Most catchy singalong, hooky, records came out these years as well. Los Angeles had a punk band called Face to Face.
