Rufus Wainwright's self titled album is listed as being rated an 104 by Christgau. (He gave it a B+)
There's a similar problem with Sparklehorse's Good Morning Spider where it is listed as being rated an 1108 by Christgau. (He gave it a neither)

Although Rate Your Music's singles index for The Who lists 1965 for "I Can’t Explain" b/w "Bald Headed Woman," there is a 1964 United States issuing among the 8 issues (as simply "Can’t Explain," with the same B-side).

https://rateyourmusic.com/release/singl ... ded_woman/

EDIT:
Pete Townshend himself confirms this at the top of his latest Rolling Stone interview
This is a long tour. What is motivating you at this stage?
My first song that charted with the Who, "I Can't Explain," came out in December of 1964, but it didn't get high in the charts until the beginning of 1965. That means this is the 50th anniversary of the band and for me as a songwriter.

I Don't understand why The Drifters "White Christmas" number 193 on dave marsh list "1001 Greatest Singles Ever Made" appears on AM until James Brown "Bewildered" number 136 is not on AM.
Same for Kenner, Chris "Land of 1,000 Dances" > 151
Summer, Donna "Cold Love" > 164
Four Seasons, The "Silence is Golden" > 166

some strange misses again:

Kenner, Chris "Land of 1,000 Dances" > 151 on dave marsh and mentionned on bruce pollock list
Prince "Delirious" > 364 on dave marsh and mentionned on bruce pollock list
Beach Boys, The "Wendy" 804 dave marsh and mentionned on bruce pollock list
Staple Singers, The "Heavy Makes You Happy" > 910 on dave marsh and mentionned on bruce pollock list
Wainwright III, Loudon "Dead Skunk" 932 on dave marsh and mentionned on bruce pollock list
Southside Johnny & Asbury Jukes, The "I Don't Want to Go Home" 939 on dave marsh and mentionned on bruce pollock list
Hot Chocolate "Every 1's a Winner" 982 on dave marsh and mentionned on bruce pollock list
Sam and Dave "Soul Sister, Brown Sugar" > mentionned on bruce pollock and dimery list
Sam and Dave "You Got Me Hummin’" > mentionned on bruce pollock and dimery list

I think there's some misses with bruce pollock list

Just checked. To be more clear, the page for the Passions lists two bubbling songs, one from this American doo-wop band (Just to Be with You):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Passio ... an_band%29

And one from this British post-punk band which has the same name (I'm in Love with a German Film Star):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Passions_%28UK_band%29

"I'm in Love with a German Film Star" is nice atmospheric post-punk BTW, people who like the genre should check it out.

That's why it says "Some songs "bubbling under" the all-time top 6000:". It's not necessary the songs closest to the ranked list. If that had been the case I would have ranked them all. I'm not sure why "White Christmas" is included and not the others, but it might have been that I wanted to fill up 1954 with more songs.

Only "Land of 1,000 Dances" is a mistake. All the others were close to be included in the last update, but I am confident that they wouldn't make the top 6000.

"Delirious" is from 1982, from which I have more information (end of year and end of decade lists) than from the 1960s, which makes the requirement a bit higher and therefore March-364 and Pollock wasn't quite enough. I hope this makes sense.

I noticed that "The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin is listed as being released in 1973. This song was originally released in 1902.

It might have been re-released at some point, but I think it's likely that the version the critics are referring to is the one from 1902.

Grammy for Album of the Year is all wrong, or then I'm just completely out of things. It seems for ex. In Rainbows isn't credited as a nominee at all, Viva La Vida is marked as a winner, Tha Carter III is marked as a winner. The last two were only nominees in the 2009 ceremony. Raising Sand isn't credited at all even though it won.

But as I said I might be completely wrong. Reason I'm doubting myself is that I'm doing other, unrelated things too right now.

Maybe 2009 ceremony is the only year that there's a problem?

Edit: The College Dropout isn't a nominee either, 2005 ceremony...

Edit: I can go through starting from 90s till 2014 if in fact I have not lost my mind and those are real errors. Can someone confirm at least a couple of these errors?

I'm pretty sure in the old ones there's no errors, so I would assume.

Same with the list "Treble (USA) - The Top 200 Songs of the 1970s (2012)"

The Saints, “Know Your Product” is N°156 and not in AM, while other songs which are less classified are on AM.
Idem with:
- Judas Priest, "The Ripper"  > N° 137
- James Brown, "The Boss"  > N°120

Other thing, i find it surprising to see that song of birthday party "Nick The Stripper" on this list at number 122, not in AM, and "Add it Up" from Violent Femmes Number 127 in AM (and not in any other lists) ???
Same with Dinosaur L "Go Bang #5" N°113 and not in AM.
Bauhaus "Dark Entries" N°117
Dinosaur Jr. "Little Fury Things" N°99
This Heat "S.P.Q.R." N°90
Devo "Beautiful World" N°74
I don't think you should give it too much importance if the songs are bubbling under as those are not an exhaustive list. Would be strange if Add It Up was ranked and not the others, but bubbling are only songs that Henrik thought at some point might have a chance to make the list (or used to be on the list), not every song ever cited in a list.
