Another week featuring albums I'm not particularly fond of but with songs I love ("Get Got," "Pull Me Under," "Can We Still Be Friends"). And, also, another where I had to vote against my second favorite album of the week ("With a Little Help From My Friends").

I have no time for writing more expansive comments this week, which is too bad because this might be the best week yet. Seven albums here rank from great to amazing and there is a lot of originality between them. The only album that doesn't measure up to the rest in my opinion is Hermit of Mink Hollow, but that one is pleasant enough too. The third match-up is so great that it should have been saved for the final rounds.

I enjoyed Images and Words more than I anticipated based on how terrible the album I knew (Metropolis pt 2) is. I really don't like the band's aesthetic (Labrie's voice, how the guitars are tuned, awful lyrics...), but at least they still knew that melodies are more important than how fast Portnoy or Petrucci can play.
On their sole 90s album, Bark Psychosis are probably the best alumni of later Talk Talk. That's high praise.
