16. Rusted Root - When I Woke
I just wanted to be one of those ghosts
You thought that you could forget
And then I haunt you via the rear view mirror
On a long drive from the back seat...

13. Babe Ruth - First Base
(Trivia: The earliest known "Merry-Go-Round," Kool Herc's earliest hip-hop innovation going back to 1972, includes "Give It Up or Turnit a Loose," "Bongo Rock," and, from the above album, "The Mexican.")

5. Ted Nugent - Penetrator
Boy I have no idea what #14 is. I've been through craploads of second rate hard rock acts to try and find it (stumbling upon the Ted Nugent album cover in the process), but to no avail
Edit: FOUND IT!
14. UFO - Misdemeanor
I have to admit you know your hard rock, RickMayer. Still not my stuff though

Rock is rock whether it be punk, ska, or hard.... Thin Lizzy and Led Zeppelin inspired U2, Motorhead inspired a legion of punk bands and the Beatles inspired them all.Pierre wrote:5. Ted Nugent - Penetrator

Re: Album Quiz #9
Yes, but the fact is, aside from some psychedelic acts and a few genres like progressive, krautrock or post-punk which are abusively referred to as "rock" although this is not always justified from a structural standpoint, and some acts that are rather adventurous in the rock idiom (like Sonic Youth or Tom Waits), the rock music is only a peripheral component of my current music tastes, which are more centered on jazz fusion, funk, electronic music with touches of hip-hop and modern alternative music genres. So no matter what, hard rock or punk rock are not really my stuff, which must not be taken as a personal judgment on these genres' qualityRickMayer wrote:Rock is rock whether it be punk, ska, or hard....
