All four strong albums.

Rubber Soul (#8)
Physical Graffiti (#17)
Thriller (#51)
Sign O the Times (#161)
Never thought this would be so stacked. I'd be okay if any of the top three won.
Beggar's Banquet (#43)
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (#63)
Blood on the Tracks (#192)
Remain in Light (#225)
OK Computer (#1)
Nevermind (#14)
Unknown Pleasures (#270)
Graceland (NR)
Graceland is the only album this week I did not rank. But this is more an indicator of the quality of this week as a whole than a knock against the quality of this album.
The Doors (#40)
Sticky Fingers (#90)
Ziggy Stardust (#104)
Are you Experienced? (#202)
Physical Graffiti (#17)

29 | The Beatles | Rubber Soul (#290)
30 | Prince | Sign 'O' the Times (#310)
I'll take my Zeppelin sprawling, indulgent, and epic over their relatively simple first two LP's. On the other hand, Sign 'O' the Times feels a bit sloppy compared with the laser-tight focus of Purple Rain and 1999, though filled with highlights nonetheless. I hope to one day be enthralled by its charms as much as others on here have been. Thriller and Rubber Soul are both stellar pop albums, and revered for good reason.
73 | Kanye West | My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (#1)
22 | Bob Dylan | Blood on the Tracks (#23)
32 | Talking Heads | Remain in Light (#93)
33 | The Rolling Stones | Beggars Banquet
This is it, this is the bracket that killed me. With the exception of Beggars Banquet, which stands out as an underwhelming detour in an otherwise fantastic era for The Rolling Stones, all of these albums have emotionally impacted me in some way, or have affected what I listen to in music.
10 | Radiohead | OK Computer (#12)
60 | Joy Division | Unknown Pleasures (#98)
3 | Nirvana | Nevermind
70 | Paul Simon | Graceland
While OK Computer wasn't the first Radiohead album I listened to, or even my favorite (Kid A), it remains the Radiohead album I return the most often to. A stunning demonstration of what an album can be and do. Unknown Pleasures' descent into darkness is a ride I return to again and again.
27 | The Doors | The Doors (#102)
45 | The Rolling Stones | Sticky Fingers (#139)
16 | David Bowie | The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (#212)
14 | Jimi Hendrix | Are You Experienced?
The Doors nails the undercurrent of fear, paranoia, and rage in the late 60's, with striking parallels to the present. Sticky Fingers foreshadows the gritty blues of Exile, albeit in a much more direct and listenable format, and with several of my all-time favorite songs to boot! Glam Bowie isn't my favorite Bowie, but damn, Ziggy makes a convincing argument for that title.
25 | Michael Jackson | Thriller (#260)
29 | The Beatles | Rubber Soul (#290)

Re: Bracketology 4 Albums Edition: Round 2, Week 4
A minor stat about second round about the coincidence with the critics, with significantly less coincidence than on first round:
- In 7 of the 16 brackets (43,75%) we selected the same album as the #1 of the bracket (on the first round it was 76,56%).
- In 3 of the 16 brackets (18,75%) the whole bracket ended in the same order of preference (exactly the same percentage as we had on first round, 18,75%).
- This second round the only album that ended last on our bracket despite having the highest seeding according to the critics was "It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back."
