Congratulations to Courtney Barnett for entering our Hall of Fame! This is one of those strange weeks where a lack of votes for newer songs on the Chart, coupled with a Hall of Fame retirement, leads to a large amount of songs passing through into the next week. Such is the way of the voters. Due to Barnett's automatic retirement from the Chart, and the tie for 11th place, the top 13 songs otherwise went through to this week's Chart.
2016 Chart-Toppers by Week (by vote count, not chart position; total weeks atop chart in parentheses):

Thank you all for voting and nominating continuously every week! Please don't be afraid to supply us with nominations - all songs six months old and younger (or who have received promotion via album/video/single in the last six months) are accepted! And seconding nominations by others gives those songs a better chance at making the next poll!
As per usual, the next poll will be created as close to Sunday at 19:00 UTC as I can make it. Best of voting!

Two nominations:
Anderson .Paak - The Seasons | Carry Me (a song that I've re-nominated before embarrassingly realizing I got it confused with The Waters) and...
Kashiwa Daisuke - Crystal Valley (I prefer this one to Stella)

I also think there is a loophole to allow for them in that they were not officially released before now.babydoll wrote:I think all of them are older than 6 months.Rdwdbob wrote:Prince - 'Screwdriver'

Technically, they were released and readily available within the past six months, so MAYBE we can make an exception.
A few years ago I just kept thinking "If only Prince could make himself more readily available and put his B-sides out for the true fans."
Be careful what you wish for! You might just get it.
" Ah, yes! Our meager restitution"
