Now, I've decided to do this series, for a few weeks, to cheer ourselves up after the election has kind of befuddled and frustrated us.
I'm going off of the Unofficial Update, pictured here.

You're missing two albums, but I would still go with To Pimp a Butterfly. It's around #25 all time for me. Unlike good kid, m.A.A.d. city, each song can stand on its own, and it's super adventurous and experimental music. And super catchy/poppy, which is my style. Favorite song: "for sale? (interlude)"

I chose In Rainbows, but it could have been Surfer Rosa too. Both are all time top 20 for me.
In Rainbows is perfect song-by-song, while Surfer Rosa shows a very unique music style, explored in an almost flawless way.

Rain Dogs is my all time #3, lots of great albums in this slice.
Small nitpick, in 50 years of rock are only ten of them 'top tier'?

I had a tough time choosing between the three in this bunch I rate 4.5 stars: Rain Dogs, Morning Glory and The Bends. I ultimately went with Rain Dogs, as I consider it incrementally better than the other two.

Hot damn this was difficult. I chose Illinois, but it easily could have gone to To Pimp a Butterfly, the Bends, or Surfer Rosa.

letmeintomyzone is using a website called topsters to make the image, and it automatically assigns the label of "second tier classics" to anything after the top ten (the site is mainly used for users to catalogue their personal favorites).Jirin wrote:Rain Dogs is my all time #3, lots of great albums in this slice.
