Are their any iconic non-album singles you want to mention in this thread?

I know The Smiths and The Beatles released a lot of great non-album singles.

Nirvana- Sliver probably won't get mentioned, but I always loved it.

All 5 of ABBA's non-album singles are pretty great. If you're into some pop/synthpop/dance-pop:
"Fernando"
"Summer Night City"
"Gimme Gimme Gimme"
"The Day Before You Came"
"Under Attack"

Edit: Sorry, I think actually didn't really answer your question haha. An iconic non-album single is definitely "Blue Monday" by New Order.

The one that first came to my mind was "Join Together" by The Who
" Ah, yes! Our meager restitution"
