Which is Bob Dylan's Essential Live Performance?

Post by Sunwoo1213 »

For Bruce Springsteen, there are some recommended shows.. such as 1975 Hammersmith Odeon, 1978 Winterland, 1980 Nassau Coliseum.. etc.

And I only heard to Bootleg 4: 1966 Royal Albert hall concert which is known as one of the most important live show in history of music.

is there any other essential live performances that i have to listen to?

That one is quite possibly even more important.

Here, try this on. I found some site (circa 2007) that attempted a top 75 of his concerts, but also whittled it down to 10 that were not officially released.
October, 1962 – Gaslight Café, New York, NY
May 16, 1976 – Tarrant County Convention Center Arena, Fort Worth, TX
November 16, 1979 – Fox Warfield Theater, San Francisco, CA
April 20, 1980 – Massey Hall, Toronto, CA
June 30, 1988 – Jones Beach Music Theater, Wantaugh, PA
November 16-17, 1993 (both) – The Supper Club, New York, NY

March 11, 1995 – Congress Hall, Prague, Czech Republic
March 31, 1995 – Brixton Academy, London, England
October 7, 2002 – Tehama County Fairgrounds, Red Bluff, CA
November 24, 2003 – Hammersmith Apollo, London, England

The ones in bold overlap with another Dylan site: http://www.bobsboots.com/CDs/00_Musthave.html#perform
A good amount of this should likely be on YouTube, then.
