Here it is at last, instalment n°28 of the Acclaimed Music Forum Chart !
Thank you for your votes from last week, a healthy 109 votes
Noteworthy :
The National comes back with its second entry at the top spot, dislodging the Radiohead kings
One new entry this week, following their new album, Broken Social Scene
Kicked out : Liam Gallagher - wait belay that order, number one. We managed only 9 nominations this week (including two last minute ones from me), so he survives the chop.

My apologies if this one has already come and gone, but I would nominate Perfume Genius - Just Like Love if I may.

Re: AMF Weekly Chart 17.28
I will comment after having listened to the first part of the chart.
This brood is incredibly gloomy and downbeat...In fact, you have to wait for n° 8 (Portugal The Man) to have a whiff of an upbeat, happy-ish song.
What is it with the current musical mood ?
PS - I also find "I Promise" particularly bland and repetitive. I just don't get how it beats Man of War, by far the more intricate and worthy of attention.

Purely because it's looking like we need some nominations this week: The Parson Red Heads - 'Time After Time' (nonetheless a pretty good song anyway)
