Well, in my case I actually know it: I WON'T have time to do all the required listening with this maelstrom of polls. Steely Dan, Overlooked, 9285, 1984, 2009/00s Decade Poll, Women in Music (3 polls!), Album of the Week plus the usual Rank the Tracks, AMF Weekly chart and Rob's 10000 Songs. It's absolutely overwhelming. Polls like Overlooked, 9285, 1984 are not too hard to follow after the first round but… it was necessary to begin all those three polls at the same time?
On December we will have the 00s final poll (I will probably need to do some catch-up on albums) plus the triple poll about women (the one I'm more interested in participate if I find time to do some additional listening). I wish the deadline of the women's poll would be delayed but probably I'm the only one thinking like that.
Moreover sometimes you only want to listen to some music you feel like listening, music that is not part of any game. So I'm afraid I'm going to give up on some of these games, for instance I still haven't listened to any album of the week (apart from the first). But I would like to participate on this 1984 Poll, fortunately there are only 7 albums previously unknown to me…
And sorry, ordinaryperson, for using your thread for my rant.
