R.I.P. Scott Walker

Post by Harold »

Scott Walker, the American-born singer who became a British teen idol in the Sixties with the group The Walker Brothers and then took a sharp left turn into decades of acclaimed, wildly experimental and avant-garde music, has died at 76:

There are two topics for this now. I react on the first.

My knowledge of Scott Walker is very limited and my opinion on what I know is rather varied too. I have loved and disliked his work, as it tend to go with the more avant garde artists. I like that he went from basically a boyband idol to one of the most challenging artists of his generation. I need to take a deep dive here once.
Rest in peace.

Sad to hear this. I am a bit of a surface fan of his but like what I know.
