You can make predictions regarding the tournament (as long as it doesn't influence your voting in any way!).

Let me know if you have any questions.

My plan is to start the first four matchups on MARCH 5th (one from each quartile like last time).

Thanks

Getting set to launch the first round of MA3 this Monday, March 5th!

Still time to get your bracket predictions in... we have about a dozen (Listyguy - your's is still hanging on "not finished").

I'm really psyched for this. Listened to all the albums I hadn't heard yet and there's some really good stuff in competition. Perhaps not as much as last time around, but the overall quality is still stunning considering how much could not be nominated. I should probably update my prediction now that I've actually heard the albums, but it's more interesting this way.

I'm only up to week 6 in my listening. With the ones I've already heard that should mean I need to listen to 4 albums per week to vote in every match.

There are already a lot of great finds.

Glad to hear you all are as excited about this as I am. I agree - some great finds already and I've barely scratched the surface! Some surprising personal results in the matchups as well... this is a very unpredictable bracket.

Somehow I completely missed the boat on the nominations, but there are a lot of great albums in the field and many that I've wanted to hear but haven't had the chance to. To me this is even harder to predict than the last moderate albums game. I could easily see even some of the albums I picked for the final four getting knocked out in the first round. Last time I remember most people picked Summerteeth to win, but only Wire's 154 has been picked by more than one person here.
