I think the Auteurs' Showgirl didn't get the right treatment last week.

Just trying to understand what's happening here... if something gets voted out and we're unhappy about it, we can just nominate it again immediately?

Yes it’s a slight difference from the new chart.
It seems to be working for the Fountains of Wayne and a dip in votes could kick a song out unfairly.
It’s also a bit lazy from me as I don’t want to be going through hundreds of songs to see if if had been already nominated....
However, I think that I should put a limit of one repechage per song to avoid abuse of the rule.

I've waited a long time to repechage this, but I'd like to re-nominate Heartbeat by Annie.

It got the number 1 slot and then was out in it's third week. If there's not enough nominations, it'd be good to see if it can go the distance :)
