AMF WC Forgotten Hits Edition 10

Post by Wisnu Tirta Aji »

This is the tenth edition of AMF WC Forgotten Hits. There are rules for weekly chart forgotten hits: Miss the Top 50 of AM's greatest radio hits of each year and each 10 years and did not featured on AM list. In this time, nominate for the best forgotten hits is open now!

Forgotten Hits trending today given to "All I Want" by Olivia Rodrigo, but not to be confused with a track of the same name by Kodaline. "All I Want", from the soundtrack of the film, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, is now rising to Billboard's Hot 100 after its film promoted around the world, big streaming, and its video available. This category of "big streaming" (for example Spotify) can reminds forgotten hits of another big stream trending, "Falling" by a risingless star, Trevor Daniel. Wait for the next edition of Forgotten Hits to see the fate of Olivia Rodrigo (and other forgotten hits!).

In the Wild Card, the following are 5 acts (although the other 8 acts also with 1 point) that featured again on weekly Forgotten Hits chart (sorted by listeners on Last.fm in a top track):

Ellie Goulding
An Indie Pop act, more known for her sleeper hit track, "Lights". She was also colaborated with Diplo and Swae Lee (and Red Velvet in the Korean version) for their track, "close to me".

Frank Black
Although his band, Pixies, was more popular than him, he was pretty acclaimed. Most well known track is "Headache".

Mandy Moore
Forgotten Hits didn't know why she was best known for one of some teen acts with most listeners but her track, "I Wanna Be with You", received poor support in the beginning of Forgotten Hits? This track, was her only Top 40 single on Billboard's Hot 100.

Miley Cyrus
Although she was also known as "Hannah Montana" for Hannah's track, the Alternative Rock track, "Nobody's Perfect" (not to be confused with "Nobody's Fool", an Arena Rock track by Cinderella), Miley have more singles on Billboard's Hot 100 including the Soft Rock ballad, "Malibu".

White Lion
They are one of several successful Arena Rock band of the 1980s even the beginning of the 1990s. Although during that time was the rise of Alternative Rock, for Forgotten Hits, they are pretty acclaimed in the beginning of the 1990s during the end of the Arena Rock year.

Meanwhile, in the weekly Forgotten Hits chart, Eddie Money going to Hall of Fame, make him the sixth act to do so. If you like Eddie Money, don't forget to vote more on Forgotten Hits! After that, on the eighth week, it's time to bring someone like Eddie Money into Hall of Fame!

:scared-shocked: 29 votes last week (-15 votes)
:scared-shocked: On the top step of the podium : Free bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd
:scared-shocked: 5 new entries : Ellie Goulding, Frank Black, Mandy Moore, Miley Cyrus, and White Lion (all are the second nomination!)
:text-bump: Kicked out this week : 5 Seconds of Summer, Birdy, Jewel, and Lauren Daigle
:text-bump: Eddie Money reach the Hall of Fame !
