It is very interesting to see that the 4 old albums still remain.

These survivor games seem to enable song/artists/albums that do not generate much antipathy to remain in place for quite some time. How many of us would have any of the following albums in their top 7 of all time?

Thelonious Monk | Genius of Modern Music (Volume One)
Miles Davis | Classics in Jazz/Birth of the Cool
Billie Holiday | Lady in Satin
Miles Davis | Kind of Blue

Perhaps a few have Kind of Blue in their top ten.

There's been some kind of mistake:

The list after styrofoamboots kicked out Abbey Road:

Thelonious Monk | Genius of Modern Music (Volume One)
Miles Davis | Classics in Jazz/Birth of the Cool
Billie Holiday | Lady in Satin
Miles Davis | Kind of Blue
Bob Dylan | Highway 61 Revisited
Marvin Gaye | What's Going On

DaveC kicked out Miles Davis:

Thelonious Monk | Genius of Modern Music (Volume One)
Billie Holiday | Lady in Satin
Miles Davis | Kind of Blue
Bob Dylan | Highway 61 Revisited
Marvin Gaye | What's Going On

Gillingham kicked out Thelonious Monk:

Billie Holiday | Lady in Satin
Miles Davis | Kind of Blue
Bob Dylan | Highway 61 Revisited
Marvin Gaye | What's Going On

I kicked out Bob Dylan:

Billie Holiday | Lady in Satin
Miles Davis | Kind of Blue
Marvin Gaye | What's Going On

Rob kicked out Marvin Gaye, so it should look like this:

Billie Holiday | Lady in Satin
Miles Davis | Kind of Blue

but it looked like this:

Thelonious Monk | Genius of Modern Music (Volume One)
Billie Holiday | Lady in Satin
Miles Davis | Kind of Blue
Bob Dylan | Highway 61 Revisited

Qarlos kicked out Thelonious Monk again, who shouldn't have been there.

Holden kicked out Billie Holiday, so theoretically the winner should be:

Miles Davis | Kind of Blue

I’d say our winner is Kind of Blue then!!

I will be interested to see how many folks have Kind of Blue and/or Lady in Satin in their top 100 albums in our all-time album poll.

I did not include Lady in Satin in my list, and Kind of Blue came in as my 606th favorite album of all time.

I have Kind of Blue at #26, a lot higher than most of the albums of the list that kicked off this thread.
