Biggest Fan: The Top 100 (September 2020 edition)

Welcome to the September 2020 Edition of Biggest Fan! We reached that elusive #600 now, with no signs of stopping!

What is Biggest Fan? That is a little game we play here, based on the All-Time Song Poll of last year. In that game, people could vote for their favorite songs of all time, up to a top 1000. Although a lot of songs got multiple votes, there were still a lot of songs that only managed to get one vote. The lonely tunes were then used for this Biggest Fan game, where each day there is a random song from that list is picked. People can than give them a grade and average rating of these votes will be revealed in this topic, ranked from lowest to highest. The plan is to update this top 100 every time we did another 100. People are still allowed to vote for songs that have already appeared here and can also change their votes, so list has the potential to remain dynamic.

To make the list, you now need a score of 6,625. Only 15 completely new songs made it, as how more entries we have, the more difficult it becomes to make the cut.

One note, I was planning of unveiling the list this weekend, but I'm very limited in my time, so I guess this will be unveiled somewhat slower than usual, over the next few days, with no guaranteed update every day. Having said that, let's start.

- The average score for a song is 5,880499431, that down almost imperceptibly from last time's 5,883134758. The average has been rather steady overall the last few updates.
- The last time the artist with the most entries in the list was a tie between Big Thief, Gorillaz and The Heavy, with two each. They are now joined by Deep Purple.
- Prince, the most appearing artist in this whole game by some measure, has finally returned in the top 100. In fact, with a placement in the top 10 he should be secure for a long while. Ironically, it is a rare Prince song that does not come from Moonbeam's list.
- Every top 100 up til now gave Hymie the most entries. No longer! In fact he fell on hard times. This period saw the Holy Randomizer picking barely any new songs from his list. Besides that 3 of his picks fell out of the top 100. As a consolation, he did get one new entry - in the top 10. He ends up with 5 songs on the list (the same as Krurze), but this time his great enemy Zombeels has overtaken him with 6 songs. Zombeels loses and gains one song, so remains at the same amount. However, this does not mean Zombeels can reach for the gold yet, as Brad has made a big leap and now has 8 songs in the top 100, becoming the new king of the game! He also had a lot of his songs show up, so he might even overtake Hymie once as the favorite of our Lord Randomizer. After these people, Bonnielaurel, SafetyCat, JohnnyBGoode and fasbjd do rather well with 4 entries each. There are also a lot of people who have 2 or 3 songs in the list.
- Of course the one person who noticeably fails to get one song in the top 100 is Rob. Of course, I did not have any new entries, but I have one in the running next time, which can hopefully end this cruel joke.
- I could make a mention that LMFAO's Yes is still the worst ranked song, but that's beating a very dead horse. More noteable was the battle between Limp Bizkit and Nickelback, two of the most despised bands in rock history that arrived back to back in this game this June. It was actually easily won by Nickelback. Not that a score of 4,117647059 is anything to write home about, but compared to Limp Bizkit's measly 3,416666667 it is a sweet victory. Bizkit's My Generation was the worst rated new entry in the last period, followed by The Weeknd with King of the Fall (surprisingly, as it is a RYM favorite) and then, yes, Someday by Nickelback.

I'd be interested, for everyone who graded at least 10 songs, so see the difference between the average grade they gave to their own songs and the average grade they gave to other people's songs.
And if, say, someone had a gap over 5 (can't imagine who that would be), have the final list without his grades.
