A strong set of nominees for the Mercury Prize. Black Midi, Idles, Little Simz and Slowthai have all put out some of my favourite albums of the past year. The others weren't bad either. Surprise choice for the token jazz act - I thought they'd go for The Comet Is Coming. Still, 'Driftglass' is the only album I've yet to hear so I'm looking forward to giving it a spin.
