Not all critic do over 10 album reviews in a month. SPIN Magazine is on of the most respected major critics yet they barely do 4-5 album reviews per month

Really!? That’s not great, but Spin is a printed magazine, and I’m less scrupulous with them.

Also, Spin has been around since 1985, and definitely used to be a big-deal rock magazine.

The Diamondback is the student newspaper from the University of Maryland. Not really comparable. Literally anyone can make a list of the best albums or songs of [some specified period of time]. That doesn't mean they should all be eligible to be included here.

Other student newspapers haven't been included (i.e. Harvard's), so I guess this one either.
