Post by Harold »

The VOICE hasn't posted the full Pazz & Jop 2013 page as I write this (6:30 Chicago time), but a post on the general music forum has links to slideshows of the top 25 albums and singles. Assuming these don't change, here are the P&J top 25 albums:

I posted the rest of the top 100 (found on the stat site linked to in the P&J thread in the general section) last night, but I've deleted it - the VOICE still (as of 5:45 am Chicago time) hasn't updated the P&J page, and I'm very uncomfortable with having posted before the results are publicly available. I'm leaving the top 25 since the slideshow was (however briefly) out there for all to see. I will repost #'s 26-100 once the 2013 results are official.

I called the top 5 ranking for Beyoncé in a post on the Mega-Critic thread; I wonder how many other publications will follow Spin's lead in holding a place for the album on their 2014 EOY lists to compensate for having compiled their lists too early. As it stands, there's a real possibility that the album won't make the AM top 3000 in the next update.
