No album by The Beatles ? Surprising even for a not-a-fan like myself.

The Beatles are the most influential band period. Q magazine is run by morons.

It looks like it’s one record per artist, and The Beatles has a song/single listed.

What an absolute joke. There's not even anything by Chuck Berry, Louis Armstrong, Elvis, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra or Billie Holiday, or any jazz. I hope this shit list does not get counted towards any rankings on this site.

Q sucks, that's no news. Still, they are an important music publication, and as such, they're included too. There's a lot of lists that suck which have been added already. That'll just make one more.

What makes them important?

According to Wikipedia they have a circulation of just 44,000.

That's a healthy figure now, smilar to the others. NME was down to 15k in it's last days as a paid for publication in 2015.

3 Bowie albums, 2 Radiohead albums & those Various ones but no one has Single & Album, closest being Joy Division/New Order with Unknown Pleasures & Blue Monday.

That three albums in one entry for Bowie is an oddity I had seen, but I hadn't realised that Radiohead have two albums.

JOHN LENNON - PLASTIC ONO BAND (1970)
More influential than anything released by The Beatles?

HARRY NILSSON - NILSSON SCHMILSSON (1971)
More influential than anything released by Bob Dylan?

JONI MITCHELL - FOR THE ROSES (1972)
More influential than either her Blue or Court & Spark albums?

Yeah right.
