Rock n Roll America's Top 1000 Classic Rock Songs

The List

Some singles are grouped together, such as We Will Rock You and We are the Champions by Queen. I'm unsure if this qualifies because it doesn't seem to be directly associated with a radio station. Rocknrollamerica.net is part of a larger network called http://www.wallyjradio.com/, which features other genre-themed "America" sites (rocknrollamerica.net seems to be the only one that has a top 1000, as far as I know of). wallyjradio.com also links to a radio station called WDTZ 98.1, so maybe they broadcasted the list there? Rocknrollamerica.net itself doesn't seem to have a call sign, at least not one mentioned on its website.

It might be eligible. Being a "base list," it probably means that these are the 1,000 songs they keep on heavy rotation. The ranking probably indicates not just how good the song is, but in all likelihood how often they play it compared to the others. It would make sense that the most-played song on a classic rock station (like, indeed, any classic rock station) is "Stairway to Heaven."

I agree, it's most likely the most played songs on whatever rock station this is from.

Looking at the site's archive.org page, it seems it's been around since at least April 19, 2014 (almost 6 years to the day!), the date of the earliest snapshot. During that time, the list has never changed. It's not a yearly list like MAX's Top 1000 Songs.
