I would love to know why the number of votes is so low every week. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Adia Victoria : Clean = interesting artist, a new discovery for me. Goth / Blues inventive rock. The album is a highlight of 2019

I’m as perplexed as you might be thelastenemy. I find this chart just a little more interesting than the ‘classic’ chart. I’ve been turned on to way more interesting new music here over the years than on any other outlet. I’ve said it before...you’re doing a great job on keeping this one going!

Not sure what the answer may be in getting more participation but please don’t give it up any time soon.

We're going to need up to 13 new nominations this week, so here are a couple more

Chelsea Wolfe - American Darkness
The Flaming Lips - How can a head

No, neither. We have had 'Her Own Heart' and 'Without a Blush' though.

Then consider 'Obsessed' nominated for now.

My take on this: There haven't been any obvious song-of-the-year contenders on the chart in recent weeks/months, or any really exciting releases by big-name artists or artists I love. So overall there has been less on the chart that jumps out as something I need to check out. I'll admit I haven't bothered to listen to most of the songs on here yet, so maybe they are great, but they just didn't compel me to listen to them yet. But all of the sudden, this week there have been some more intriguing nominations, including ones I was excited to nominate, so this chart is going to appeal to me more again.
