I've changed the inclusion for the lovers and haters slightly. If there is nobody who qualifies by placing the song in their top or bottom 10%, I'll add the highest and lowest vote for each song.

I will also update the first post with the currently revealed list so people don't have to scroll through everything if they just want a quick look at the results.

I second this notion, respect for the work that probably took.

By the way, do I have the honor of the first No. 1 or is there someone outside of the Top 200?

Perhaps an explanation is called for when StevieFan ranks a Stevie album so low.

I am not a big fan of the Master Blaster song as indicated by my rating of 83. I enjoy listening to the song occasionally, but was disappointed with it after all of Stevie's fantastic songs in earlier years.

Moonbeam I have to say this presentation is simply astounding! So much work for each individual album/song!

Songs were still major favorites at that mark, in my case. It's interesting to see how much the poll differentiated for each of us voters in terms of perceived quality of the pool of songs and albums. As for me, I liked most of the songs and albums.

It'd simply undoable, but it'd be interesting to see how the poll would've gone if there was a way to account for each individual's attitude towards each song in addition to ranking them.

I had thought of having people rate the albums and songs instead of rank them, but that didn't go well when I tried it for another game, so I was hesitant. That's the way I've run the Prince polls and it has gone pretty well.

I agree that the pools of albums and songs were very strong - the songs in particular. My average rating for the songs is 7.898, almost the 8 mark I used as a minimum for personal favorites to include in my 80s lists!

I'm proud of "Like a Virgin" doing better than "Borderline" and "Live to Tell" (which I thought were generally more better received on here than "Like a Virgin"). Though I'm not surprised that I'm the only one that's a "biggest fan" of that one.

What I suggested is a lot of work, which is why I said it is undoable. I mean, ranking and rating? Eeks. Nonetheless, an interesting possibility. And rating seems to work a lot better with an artist's discography than a poll like this, in my opinion.

I really liked the albums pool a lot, in my opinion. A good portion I'm not sure I would've voted for in their respective years, but I'm happy I got the chance to listen and rank them. Even Appetite for Destruction which is in my bottom 30% was still an album I liked quite a bit.

I'm getting on in years, but it wasn't a senior moment for me. I just happened to hear the mind-blowing Jeff Buckley cover first. The Leonard Cohen original didn't have nearly the same effect on me and was a bit disappointing in comparison. Still, I'm very glad he wrote and recorded it and inspired the Buckley cover.

At the risk of repeating myself, it's worth noting that Buckley was actually inspired by John Cale's cover version of the song, and in fact appropriates the alternate Cohen-penned verses Cale used into his (Buckley's) own version. A minor point maybe, but worth giving some credit to Cale's intermediary interpretation of the song.

Terrific presentation, Moonbeam!

Haha, indeed! Maybe he should rebrand himself as StevieExceptForMasterBlaster
AndIJustCalledtoSayILoveYou13Fan to make it that much catchier!
I don't even dislike it! I can just think of plenty of Stevie songs I like better. It ranked lower than it probably would've if I'd ranked all 300 songs. ("I Just Called to Say I Love You" still sucks. I'm a Stevie fan, not a Stevie Stan).

I think a good fan knows when to admit their favorite artist might not have delivered the goods, while not necessarily crucifying them for it. '80s Stevie never did much for me, except (how ironic) Master Blaster and Happy Birthday. Don't ask me to defend I Just Called to Say I Love You or Ebony and Ivory. '60s and '70s Stevie is untouchable and there's fine stuff after that, but nothing as good as peak Stevie ('66-'76 or so).

Moonbeam, I just wanted to add my voice to the choir of praises. We already were expecting another rollout from you filled by brilliance, exactness, attention to detail and a huge amount of work. But this takes to whole thing to another level, the graphics and especially the love-hate quotes are simply awesome. With an only problem: you set te bar too high for the young members of the forum volunteering for he following polls. Quoting Romain, your presentation crushes all other presentations ever created. Sorry for the hyperbolic tone but these are my feelings.
