I can do alphabetical through M - the first half of the alphabet - if that works.

If only there was a situation whereby people unexpectedly had more time on their hands...

A simple question, the alphabetic order are including the second part with the new entries non-2019?
Re: Help wanted - Info about new songs for the 2019 site update
I finished A-M of the 2019 songs - I actually didn't see that there was a non-2019 section and I don't know if TheLastEnemy did either.

In ID 16796 J Balvin / Bad Bunny's "La Canción" should be considered as a collaboration (as same way Jay Z / Kanye West's "Niggas In Paris". It's part of a project made in the same way (the collaborative album Oasis)Henrik wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 8:57 pmThank you so much, TheLastEnemy!!TheLastEnemy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 8:44 pm New songs info - 2019 update.xlsI've done the rest, including the non-2019 section - here it is

I wasn't sure how to notate those instances. I believe that the Karen O and Danger Mouse song would fit under the same category. Conversely, I would consider the Freddie Gibbs and Madlib release as a band - and evidently they do too, calling themselves "MadGibbs" in some instances.panam wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 11:11 pmIn ID 16796 J Balvin / Bad Bunny's "La Canción" should be considered as a collaboration (as same way Jay Z / Kanye West's "Niggas In Paris". If there will be another one of these for albums, I would be happy to do the job!

I noticed on the songs sheet that "Salted Caramel Ice Cream" by Metronomy is marked as female-fronted, which I'm not sure is true for that particular song.

Here it is. A few cells were left blank for reasons discussed in the comments. I did, however, mark the Metronomy album as NOT being female-fronted.

I can’t give a date, I’m afraid. Except that it’s quite far away... There’s a lot of work left to do, especially that a lot of 2010-2018 albums will be added due to the EOD album lists.

Is there anything else you need help with for the update?

I know one thing you can help with... you can search around RYM to help fill out this spreadsheet of genres for songs on AM! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Do you think I should make a (pinned?) thread for the song genre spreadsheet? That way it can be more visible, while also allowing a space for people to ask questions or comment on the process.
