Next weekend they got the top 100 "Race Singles" of the 1940s. As of next week, there will be a new segment on Rhythm Radio: the "Classic Albums of the Week." Each Wednesday, we'll feature in their entirety two LPs from the 1950s R&B and 1960s/'70s Soul Eras. We'll christen the new feature with Otis Redding The Dictionary of Soul (1966), followed by Chuck Berry's After School Session (1957).

The Classic Albums of the Week will run each Wednesday at 9:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 9:00 PM Eastern Time.

I did not like most of these 1975 records at the time as I was too busy discovering all these great 1950s records. But they sound good now. I hope some of you are taking advantage of this countdown.

New Jersey's own Moments are on right now. The #12 song of the year, a pretty ballad called "Look At Me (I'm In Love)."

Soon after this they became known as Ray, Goodman and Brown.

# 7 - Games People Play - Spinners (with Margie Joseph). The title was quickly changed to "They Just Can't Stop It." One of the best R&B records of the year IMO. Surprisingly to me it's not listed at all on AM.

# 6 - Love Won't Let Me Wait - Major Harris - this was humongous at the record store I worked in then. It was flying out the door for 2-3 months. Not listed at AM. Major Harris was formerly in both the Jarmels and the Delfonics.
