Lots of unfortunate pairings today. I have to vote for some real duds and not vote for some real favorites.

The Beatles: 0 vs. Neil Diamond: 3
Sly & The Family Stone: 13 vs. Red Hot Chili Peppers: 14
The Beach Boys: 13 vs. Curtis Mayfield: 13
Simon & Garfunkel: 5 vs. The Killers: 4
The Kinks: 16 vs. Sigur Ros: 15
Depeche Mode: 19 vs. Parliament/Funkadelic: 18 (ouch)
New Order: 19 vs. The Flaming Lips: 12
James Brown: 13 vs. My Bloody Valentine: 12

The Beatles- Neil's got a bunch of good singles, but have you ever tried listening to a full album of his? Don't.
Sly & The Family Stone
The Beach Boys
Simon & Garfunkel
The Kinks
Parliament/Funkadelic
New Order
James Brown

Not much to say on all the rest of them. Most of them weren't close.

I'm not surprised James Brown beat MBV, but I'm surprised by the margin. I would have expected something more like 26-18 or something.
