Songs and Albums of 1965 Poll

For the second month in a row, I didn’t have time to re-listen to/rank all my favorite albums, but I’m pretty sure these would be the top 5. Since the first version of “I-Feel-Like-I’m Fixin’-To-Die” came out in 1965, I voted for it here, although I far prefer both subsequent versions (especially the live Woodstock performance). Also, I didn’t know how to handle parts 3 and 4 of “A Love Supreme.” I believe they were combined into one track on the original LP; but the CD I have has it divided in two, so that’s what I did…

Mindrocker, hopefully, the fatigue won't last long (though I certainly understand). I love exploring every list on this forum, but my personal highlight has been exploring the lists of yours and sonofsamiam, since you both frequently list lesser-known songs and albums. I remember that you said once before that you don't get a lot of enjoyment out of listing similar lists to what you already have (which I again completely understand), but they certainly are a valuable resource to the rest of us. I'm just eternally grateful for the lists you've already provided and hope that you continue to participate on the forum, whether you make new lists or not. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that your contributions are invaluable...
