Re: It's Personal: Nomination phase
Are the sections written in stone yet? If section 4 is filled up first then maybe the bubblers could go into section 3 and the limit between section 2 and section 3 could be moved to 4000, 4500, 5000 or something like that?

I think at that point it becomes a question of whether this would be the same thing as what I originally intended. My initial idea was to have a tourney that represented overlooked songs among the acclaimed music list. If the fourth section is in such demand, perhaps that entire section should be excluded and turned into its own project; I'd rather that than have it overtake the original idea. And, perhaps the fact that its section is filling up the fastest shows that we kind of ignore the moderately acclaimed tracks this is supposed to represent...

I wanna nominate Halleluwah (4122) by Can, off Tago Mago (224). A shorter version of it was released as a single, so can I still nominate the full version?
And a huge thank you to DaveC for nominating Pink Floyd at their finest. That's one less song I have to personally nominate.

That was in the top 1000 of our songs poll, so it's ineligible. Good choice, though! I think this qualifies:
LCD Soundsystem - Home (bubbling, off This Is Happening (#383))
Ranked 39th on my personal all-time list.
Much of the appeal of this song, for me at least, is how it works in the context of the album. We'll see how it holds up divorced from the record.
