I think it would be good with one recommendation thread for each year. I think people should use it to make recommendations of individual songs or albums, but also or their preliminary lists if they want to. Since many of us post their lists in the beginning of the month it would be good to open up ...

I'd be happy to extend it to 20 songs and albums per year, but that might be considered excessive.
