Already?!? It's too early for this!
And away we go...

Re: EOY 2014 Mojo (UK)
Yep, end of November already, Harold. Many more to arrive this coming week I'd imagine.
Re: EOY 2014 Mojo (UK)
It's not just you, it is getting earlier. Mojo usually posts early December. Rough Trade was earlier this year too.Harold wrote:Already?!? It's too early for this!

Re: EOY 2014 Mojo (UK)
I know it's all subjective, but God, but I always find Mojo's year end efforts among the worst when it comes to blatant genre/favored artists bias versus a straight assessment of the quality of the new works in play...almost as bad, maybe worse in this regard, than Rolling Stone.granit wrote:http://www.mojo4music.com/17483/50-best ... nal-score/

Not that I hate all these albums...but Morning Phase #1, Lazaretto #4, Elbow #14 (not that I don't like this album, but it's their weakest in a decade), Manic Street Preachers at #20, Morrissey/U2/Pixies included at all (those are three very bad albums). All crazy choices...maybe not Elbow entirely...after the strong top of Sun Kil Moon, WOD, Swans, St. Vincent and one or two others it's otherwise been a very middling year...but still.
