If they're doing this the same way as in previous years, starting Monday they roll out the top 10 one album at a time, each weekday for two weeks.

Predictions? Bowie, Knowles sister #1, Knowles sister #2, Frank O., and Radiohead are givens, one would assume. Anohni, Car Seat Headrest, Kanye, maybe Sturgill S. very likely. PJ Harvey has been underperforming so far but seems a good fit for this top 10. Teenage Fanclub? Parquet Courts? That 2014 Christine and The Queens album that wasn't released in the U.K. until this year and has been doing quite well?

Seems like the Guardian's editors can never stick to a particular format when presenting their lists. This year they're both updating the top 40 list and giving each top ten entry their own page when revealed.

Wait, what does "updating the top 40 list" mean? Are they changing what's there already?

I think it means updating the full list (40-10 so far) with the daily reveal of the Top 10.

Not only are they creating a new page for each top ten entry but they also added each entry to the 40-11 page too. So the 40-11 page is now a the 40-10 page. Their intention is to probably add the rest of the top ten to it as they are revealed.

From what I remember, they haven't done that previously.

Well, I guess we know what the top 3 albums are going to be. Only question is what order.

Now we have a #3, I guess that leaves Car Seat Headrest and Sturgill Simpson for #2 and #1, right?..
