I couldn’t agree more! Great song - the samples and clever wordplay built around films directed by Nicolas Roeg are awesome!

This used to be one of my least favorite recordings by Dylan of this period, but it has really grown on me. Maybe the weariness that comes from the song has to be experienced, which makes it all the more remarkable that Dylan was still very young when he recorded this.
It always struck me as odd that Johnny Cash and June Carter used this particular Dylan song as the basis of one of their most energetic recordings. That works too though, as they turn it into a comedy of sorts.

A strange song, not in the least because it already fades out and stops very early, leaving us only with the sound of static. Only to start again in a completely different mode and eventually getting around again, with added static. Still, it manages to create a nice atmosphere.
