Context, for anyone who hasn't been following this: Young is deeply troubled by Spotify's hosting of Joe Rogan's podcast, which spreads a lot of COVID-related misinformation (or "alternative non-reality-tethered viewpoints," if you so desire), and posted an open letter over the weekend telling Spotify, in so many words, "You can have Young or Rogan, not both." The service obviously isn't about to drop one of its most popular items, so Young's music is gone (at least temporarily).

Young says he hopes other artists will follow his lead; I suppose it's possible that eventually only Eric Clapton and Van Morrison will be left on Spotify, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Or maybe he just wants more people to subscribe to Neil Young Archives, his own streaming service. :P
I also don't see him pulling his content from YouTube or Twitter which is spreading way more misinformation.

That's not the same. Joe Rogan was officially licensed by Spotify, which mean they personally endorse him. It would be hard for Spotify to filter through everything that's been said on all Podcasts or songs on the service and cancelling everything would border too much on extreme censorship. They are, however, responsible for what they personally invest in and what that says about them.

Let's actually use this thread for it's intended purpose for a change... (Friendly reminder that this is not a thread for documenting general Spotify availability, use The News of Today instead. This thread should specifically be used to improve the Spotify links on AM.)

Prince | The Most Beautiful Girl in the World
Artists United Against Apartheid | Sun City (album and song)
Huggy Bear | Her Jazz
Johnny Rivers | Poor Side of Town
Jai Paul | Track 2 (Str8 Outta Mumbai}
Das Racist | Hahahaha jk?
Faust | It's a Rainy Day, Sunshine Girl
45 King | The 900 Number

Apologies. I didn't realize that I wasn't helping - I was trying to help out in case the songs are available on other streaming platforms so those could be used instead.

Fair enough, seems like a project that could be worked on at some point. Although I do believe that this thread should specifically be about improving the Spotify links on AM.

The link to God Bless the Child (#771) by Billie Holiday is an upbeat Ethel Merman song. I’ve looked for Billie Holiday’s 1941 version on Spotify and am not sure it’s there.

Thanks, it might be the right one. It looks like there were several takes (that part gets cut off in the image posted). I see a couple of tracks on Spotify that could be the one you’ve posted. I’m not sure which one, if any, is considered definitive.

This version shows up on two different compilations on Spotify, there's another that shows up on both a compilation and the The Lady Sings album which I think was a re-recording from the '50s. I feel like this is probably the one worth sticking with:
