Glad to see this starting again. One thing on the bracket, it looks like game 28 and game 27 both have the Lady Gaga album listed.

This ended up almost falling on St. Patrick's Day, which I personally find amusing.

Wow, this game suddenly confronts me how time flies in a new way: I would have sworn that albums like The Lion and the Cobra or Nancy and Lee (among a handful of others) would be ineligible because they appeared in this game 2 or 3 years ago, but apparently it's four years already!

Is Air Supply becoming the new Tom Waits: an entry every year? This is the only comparison between Air Supply and Tom Waits anyone ever made.

Of the 128 albums listed, Sinead's The Lion and The Cobra is the highest ranked, at #1035.
There are 56 completely unranked albums, and 21 bubblers.

I did a check, which of these are on Spotify. Most of them are and the few that aren't are on YouTube. You can find those here:

Catherine Wheel – Ferment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1CtppR ... lEberhardt

Cecile Taylor Unit – Dark to Themselves: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3835Beh ... nel=avishv

Faust – Faust:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Epuga2J ... =giacomopc

Hector Berlioz - Symphonie fantastique [New York Philharmonic / Leonard Bernstein]:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2TVVs5 ... ionProject

The Dukes of Stratosphear – Psonic Psunspot:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bbqezg ... monPheonix

To be clear, is Flavien Berger’s Contre actually named Contre-Temps? That’s only one I can find.

I also already did the Predict It on bracketmaker. A tough year to predict the winner, that's for sure, although there are still some albums I suspect will be clear favorites.

I also noticed that not a single artist has two entries this year. I think that is a first.

Faust – Faust:

Regarding this one:

Does this play in other countries? It doesn't really show up when I search for it, I need to go to the artist's page to access it.
Hector Berlioz - Symphonie fantastique [New York Philharmonic / Leonard Bernstein]:

I'm not sure if this is the correct one, but it is on Spotify.

Unrelated to that, a question:
American Football has three self-titled albums. The nominated one is the first one from 1999, right?

It does not play here. Nothing before Faust IV is available on Spotify around these parts.

I'm not sure if this is the correct one, but it is on Spotify.
This one does work and I think it is the correct one, concerning it is the right piece, composer, conductor and orchestra. Strange that I couldn't find it as I sat long on that one, trying several ways and alternate spellings to find it.

Well I predicted it, and then looked at the leaderboard. If the wisdom of crowds is reliable then my predictions are hopeless as I forecast El Camino and Diamond Dogs to fall in the first round! Very interesting selection of albums.

I think El Camino has good shot, but I don't really believe that Diamond Dogs will make it all that far. Bowie has an album in this game every year I think, but usually he falls off rather quickly, despite him being a forum favorite artist. I think this is because his reputation is based on the many great albums not eligible here. Diamond Dogs isn't exactly his biggest work, despite some great songs on there. Similarly I saw a lot of high placements on the leaderboard for Bloodworks by The Cure. Do people really love that album so much? We'll see.
