Who ever said posting lists was a competition? I obviously don't see it that way. I'm just saying you posted that list before I did. Statement of fact.

No no no, that's not what I'm trying to do at all! My trying to help you be smarter with your list-posting isn't some kind of "turf war" thing. Tons of people post lists here and I'm only one of many. I certainly can't post all the lists in the world on my own, and others here are absolute ninjas when it comes to digging up sources from publications or parts of the world that are barely on my radar. It takes all kinds. I'm sorry if I was giving you any impression that THAT was the thing that was stressing me out. Like I said in the PM (which, and I know you meant well, I'd prefer if you didn't bring up in public chats like these - there's a reason I responded via PM rather than in the thread, right?), you could post two million lists and it's no skin off my nose. It's just a matter of being smart and considering everything we've talked about before you post. We all really do appreciate you trying to help, there's just a way to help that's more productive for everyone in the long run.

Also, "beat me to it" is just an expression we use in the States, it's not really any kind of competitive thing (ex: "I tell you what, this singer reminds me a lot of-" "Don Henley?" "Beat me to it!").
