Rolling Stone (USA) - The 100 Greatest Motown Songs (2021)

Post by StevieFan13 »

https://www.rollingstone.com/music/musi ... s-1139063/

A Rolling Stone list from the original American version that was published more than a year ago FEELS like something that's been posted here already...and yet, I don't see it, so nobody come at me if it was. (Also, very weird that there's no Motown-specific lists on AM already. Is it because it's hard to categorize by record label or something? I feel like with a label as important to music as Motown, it's basically a genre in and of itself).

This is why y’all gotta use the undecided lists thread! Either it was buried deep down there or never added and I wouldn’t have had to spend time transcribing it.

I think we lost a little bit of solidarity. I always messed up with the rules to the point of never coming back but other users help me to order some lists, so I'm really thankful to these heroes of AM. By the way, I don't forget that you promised me a beer ;)

This is true. Lord knows I’ve screwed up plenty! I have plenty of empathy. (And hey, if we’re ever in the same neck of the woods, I’m a man of my word!)

the point here is that from 2017 until today the site hasn't been updated and all the lists founded between this period belong to the search pages except from EOYs 2017 2018 2019 and EOD 2010
