I'm bummed because Peter Gabriel apparently gave his six favorite songs in an interview, but if we're only counting lists with over 10 songs (which also vetoes the ton of old lists I found...bugger), it isn't eligible. Oh well. For curiosity's sake, I'll share it anyway:
https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/peter-gabr ... ite-songs/

The Beatles – ‘Please Please Me’, Please Please Me (1963)
Otis Redding – ‘Change Gonna Come’, Otis Blue (1965)
Jimi Hendrix – ‘Hey Joe’, Are You Experienced (1967)
Joni Mitchell – ‘Blue’, Blue (1971)
Paul Simon – ‘The Boy in the Bubble’, Graceland (1986)
Randy Newman – ‘I Think It’s Going to Rain Today’, Randy Newman (1968)

I could’ve sworn Henrik said once that they had to have more than ten albums or songs, but I’m not sure.

I thought the 10 song/album rule was only for critics lists and not personal artist lists. If so, I apologize.

I mean, there are a lot more top 5 or 10 lists from musicians specifically than other amounts. Couldn’t hurt to at least post them for reference.

Björk's Favorite Albums (2022; originally done for The Rest is Noise a few years prior)
https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/bjork-11-f ... -all-time/
Thai Pop – Siamese Soul, Volume 2
Steve Reich – Tehillim; Steve Reich and Musicians
Mahler – Symphony No. 10 [performing version by Deryck Cooke]; Simon Rattle conducting the Berlin Philharmonic
Berg Lulu; Teresa Stratas, Franz Mazura, Kenneth Riegel, Yvonne Minton, Pierre Boulez conducting the Paris Opera Orchestra
Alim Qasimov – Azerbaijan: The Art of the Mugham
Joni Mitchell – Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter
Kate Bush – The Dreaming
Nico – Desertshore
Public Enemy – It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back
Aphex Twin – Drukqs
Panasonic – Panasonic EP
Black Dog Productions – Bytes
James Blake – James Blake

I would really like to see Björk rap along with Public Enemy one of these days. "I got a letter from the government the other day/I opened and read it, it said they were suckers" probably hits different in an Icelandic accent.
