Thanks for taking the reins on this TheLastEnemy! Because your Brigitte Calls Me Baby would've been my nomination I guess I'll have to go with The Decemberists - 'As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again'. Two of the year's best IMHO.

This was my first year really diving hard into music in general! I listened to all the MCCh headliners and opening acts and lots more, mostly from listening to New Music Friday. This album is my standout favorite outside of any albums that have appeared on MCCh.

I thought that, but looking at the last MCCh it's in the very low 70s, so I think it's fine. Obviously not as critically acclaimed as we thought it should be!

Looking at the French sites, I clearly had the impression that this was one of the favourite albums of 2024 from the majority of music sites and magazines that I read. I only look at the foreign sites here, for the EOYs. If it's not the case in other countries, it's better, it will make a very good moderately acclaimed album.
