I've mostly tried avoiding posting giant threads of lists from the same source, but I figured I'd just dump all my remaining HHGA lists here, or at least the ones I'm pretty certain meet AM standards of eligibility (i.e. the artist lists are written by more than one person - if that's still a thing we're strict about - and have more than ten songs, while most of the rest also have multiple writers). There may be more whose eligibility I'm less certain of down the line, but these lists all would seem to pass the AM smell test. I know some have probably been posted already (I know I've shared a few), but this is just me dumping out my stock, so don't jump on me if I post a list that's already been posted - this is all for purposes of conclusiveness.

Yes. some of the writing can get a little crotchety (turns out crotchety complaining about "they don't make 'em like they used to" is just as common among old-school hip-hop heads as it is among classic rock or country snobs, but having been that brand of old-school hip-hop pain-in-the-ass before (and, in fairness, still kinda am), I can't say it's surprising. The literal name of the website is 'Hip Hop Golden Age." But these lists are a goldmine to me. As I've said, getting more hip-hop onto AM is a pet project of mine (like Rene with metal), and lord knows I'm saving some of these lists so I can give myself an education on the stuff I'm less familiar with (which is to say a lot). And for what it's worth, if a list I haven't transcribed yet has already been transcribed, let me know/post the link here and I won't bother with it.


(Oh, and before anyone asks: yes, I've seen hip-hop spelled both with and without the dash.)
